Set up RoIDE in VS Code or Cursor, with AI · RoIDE

Step by step: install RoIDE, connect VS Code or Cursor, open your game, and give Claude, Codex, Copilot and other AI apps RoIDE's tools.

1. Install RoIDE

   Download RoIDE for Windows 10 or 11 and run the installer.

2. Sign in

   Open RoIDE and sign in with your free account in the browser.

3. Connect your editor

   In the app, Connections installs the RoIDE extension in VS Code or Cursor, and connects your AI apps.

4. Open a project

   Create or open a project in the app, then open its folder in VS Code or Cursor.

5. Open your place in Studio

   The RoIDE plugin connects on its own, and your scripts sync both ways.

6. Check it works

   The status bar shows RoIDE connected, and Luau completion knows your game's instances.
